Every once in a while something new comes out that is quite exciting. Maybe it's a new set of darts, or a backboard that won't fall apart or perhaps a light that leaves no shadows but whatever it is I'm always excited to check it out. So when Magic Darts asked me to have a look at this new dartboard I jumped at the chance!

When the board arrived I was rather surprised! What's new about a Unicorn Eclipse Pro? I wondered. None-the-less I mounted the board in my Circumluminator (mounted on a Dart-Stop of course) and picked up my darts.

My first three hit solid into the board and didn't sink to the barrels - a common occurrence with the soft loosely packed fiber of the Unicorn - and as I walked up to retrieve those darts I realized that something was indeed different. While the colors are slight unique it was the Sisal that intrigued me. It was tightly packed much like a NODOR board or the Puma Bandit but embedded into the Sisal was the same spider as the Unicorn Eclipse pro! The best of all worlds perhaps?

I proceeded to pound away with my darts. Really poking holes in the sisal, working the board like the days of old when I would ruin one in a month!
However this board appeared to just take it. I could see it would be a while before I broke it in. I'm not determined to see what this thing is made of and really destroy it - which means I'll have to practice a lot (look out dartoid) all in the name of science of course.

Would I recommend buying this board? ABSOLUTELY! It's quite possibly the
find of the year!
